Difference between Compressibility and Reducibility of a Swelling

What is the Difference between Compressibility and Reducibility ?

Compressibility:- The size of the swelling reduces by the application of the external pressure. But when the external pressure is withdrawn the swelling regains the original size.
Compressibility is the characteristic feature of a vascular malformation.

Venous Malformation - Lower Arm

Reducibility:- The size of the swelling reduces by the application of the external pressure. But when the external pressure is withdrawn the swelling does not come out by its own. The swelling reappears only when the internal ( intra abdominal) pressure is increased.
Reducibility is the characteristic feature of Inguinal Hernia/ Ventral Hernia.
